Hegarty’s have a sale of 250 lots in the Radisson Blu Hotel at Little Island in Cork on Sunday April 18 at 4 p.m. Furniture highlights include a Victorian three door breakfront bookcase (3,000-5,000), a Victorian rosewood library table
(1,400-1,800), a side table in the manner of Gillingtons (700-1,000),
a George III mahogany sideboard (800-1,200), a pair of mahogany side
chairs, a Regency rosewood foldover card table, a Victorian dining
table, eight Victorian dining chairs, two 19th century chests of
drawers and an Edwardian bonheur du jour.
Collectables include 19th century French and English porcelain, wall
clocks, a 19th century bracket clock, 20 items of Irish an English
silver, 20 lots of jewellery and Irish art. Viewing from 2 p.m. to 8
p.m. today on Saturday April 17 and from 11 a.m. to the start of the auction
on April 18.

WOODWARDS  had a successful sale in Cork on Wednesday. The top lot was an oil by Kenneth Webb, A Bit of Craic – Claddagh, Galway, which made 7,250.
