    RICHARD GORMAN (1946-20260 – SLING SLING 2/20. UPDATE: THIS MADE 500 AT HAMMER

    Sling Sling is the title of this screenprint by Richard Gorman at Adam’s online picture sale which runs until March 12. The estimate is €300-500. A colourist Gorman, who died in January, was best known for his aintings and works on paper exploring the dynamic interplay between geometric forms.  Viewing for this auction, along with Adam’s Jewellery Box sale on March 10, gets underway in Dublin tomorrow.     FLORENTINE PIETRA DURA MOSAIC HARDSTONE BROOCH. UPDATE: THIS MADE 600 AT HAMMER

    This Florentine hardstone brooch inlaid with a lily of the valley motif is lot 23 at The Jewellery Box timed online sale by James Adam in Dublin on October 7. It is mounted in gold and silver and estimated at just €150-€200. The sale offers 295 lots with estimates from €50-€80 to €7,000-€8,000. It will be on view at Adams from October 3-6 and the catalogue is online.

    THE JEWELLERY BOX AT JAMES ADAM NOW ONLINE

    RETRO GOLD BRACELET, CIRCA 1955

    This retro gold bracelet comes up at Adams online auction, The Jewellery Box, which runs until June 24. The wide hinged band is composed of textured links set in a geometric pattern, enhanced with chased foliate detailing, within triangular-shaped polished and engraved motifs. It is mounted in 18 carat gold with indistinct Italian registry mark and is estimated at €2,200-€2,800. The sale offers a selection of rings, earrings, bracelets, watches and will be on view at Adams in Dublin from June 21. Meantime the catalogue is online.
