    The virtual antique fair by Hibernian Antique Fairs today and tomorrow by Hibernian Antique Fairs can be accessed using this link .http://hibernianantiques.ie/fairs/5  In this online event the dealers who traditionally display their wares at fairs up and down the country put photographs, prices, contact and delivery details online. This is the fifth virtual fair organised by Hibernian Antique Fairs. The last on the ground event they organised took place on February 29/March 1 at Kilronan Castle in Co. Roscommon.

    HIBERNIAN ANTIQUE FAIR VIRTUAL EVENT ON JANUARY 16-17

    FROM jewellery to artwork there promises to be a diverse selection on offer at the virtual art fair which Hibernian Antique Fairs will run on January 16-17. A link to access the fair will be made available on the Hibernian Antiques Fairs facebook page on January 16. Dealers taking part will show photographs of what is on offer plus contact and delivery details. Among those taking part are Treasures Irish Art of Athlone. They will show a number of works by the self taught London born Irish painter Ken Moroney (1949-2018). He specialised in Impressionist painting and romantic Edwardian style subjects.

    CORK ANTIQUE FAIR THIS WEEKEND

    The Cork Antiques Fair at the Clayton Silver Springs Hotel on February 2 marks 30 years of this fair in Cork. Organised by Hibernian Antiques Fairs this is always a crowd puller. Dealers from around Ireland will attend with everything from antique furniture, Irish art, silver, jewellery, vintage fashion and one off collectibles. Cork based stamp dealer Padraig O’Shea of Raven Stamps has offered an interesting illustration as follows:

    The block of Irish stamps on the left is worth about five euro, the block on right about 2,500. The right has no centre perforations.
