Irish Provincial silver is prized by collectors and Limerick silver is rare. So there will be interest in a c1820 serving or basting spoon by the Limerick maker Robert O’Shaughnessy which comes up at O’Donovan’s sale in Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick on July 20. It comes from the clearance of a residence in Adare and is estimated at 1,200-1,600.
