Study for Fra Angelico/Announciation is signed and dated 1927. It was once in the collection of artist Genevieve de Cissey. The estimate is €5,000-€7,000. The work was exhibited in the acclaimed exhibition The Art of Friendship: Mainie Jellett and Evie Hone at the National Gallery of Ireland in 2025.
