More than 80 lots of 20th century design furniture and 100 lots of Irish art will come under the hammer at de Veres art and design auction at Thomas Prior House, Ballsbridge, Dublin on October 1. It will include Danish and Italian furniture from the 1950’s, ’60’s and ’70’s. Designers featured include Hans Wegner, le Corbusier, Philippe Starck and Carlo di Carli. Among the artists featured at Gerard Dillon, Basil Rakoczi, William Crozier, Evie Hone, Micheal Farrell, Kenneth Webb, John Doherty, Cecil King, Ciaran Lennon, Sean McSweeney and John Shinnors.
