Antique furniture, old Irish silver, Persian rugs and even a limited edition Picasso print will come under the hammer at Sheppards auction at Fota House in Cork on May 28. The sale of 700 lots is in aid of the restoration project at St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral in Cork which was designed by William Burges. The catalogue is on-line. Here is a small selection.
