The sale at Matthews Auction Rooms on Capel St., Dublin on May 27 features a rare painting of Louis le Brocquy working at his easel. It was painted from life by artist Robert Ballagh to commemorate le Brocquy’s 90th birthday. It is estimated at 20,000-30,000. Louis le Brocquy died last April aged 95. The auction features more than 350 lots including antique furniture and art.
