    Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints will come under the hammer at Sotheby’s in London on September 27. There are rare-to-market works in a variety of categories. Works by Dürer and Rembrandt highlight the Old Masters section. There are Modern and Contemporary works by Miró, Degas, Picasso and Warhol among others.  The sale of 181 lots is expected to realise between £1,500,000 – 2,300,000.  UPDATE:  The sale of Old Master, Modern & Contemporary Prints brought a total of £1,704,988 against a pre-sale estimate of £1,478,800-2,145,700. It was 78.5% sold by lot and 82.5% sold by amount.  The top lot was a Rembrandt self portrait  at the window which made £106,850.
