THERE is a tiny bit of confusion about the date. What is beyond question is that the vintage Ford pick-up truck at auction in Waterford on June 18 is beautifully restored.
Auctioneers R.J. Keighery will offer the left hand drive truck in a sale of around 1,000 lots of furniture, collectibles and Waterford Crystal. The truck dates either to 1929 or 1930, and reflects an era when Henry Ford used to say: “You can have any colour you like so long as its black”. It is driving well. Love those running boards. The catalogue is on-line.
