The two day sale of historical Irish advertising material assembled over 40 years by a private collector in the south east at Sheppards in Durrow on June 10 and 11 has aroused much interest among collectors. Lots on offer mark the changes over the years from 1880 to 1990 and include some real rarities like this mirror advertisement for Sullivan’s Ales in Kilkenny. The catalogue and the sale are online.
