The Art of Food and Drink at Christie’s, South Kensington on January 16 follows successful themed sales like Out of the Ordinary last September and The London Sale in 2012. This is a one off sale of 180 lots of painting, photography, kitchenalia, posters and tableware. There is everything from still lifes by Old Master to iconic posters, fossilized crustaceans, early tea cannisters, Picasso ceramics and early recipe books. Estimates range from £400 to £60,000.
