Lighthouse anyone? An eight foot tall fully working model of a lighthouse is one of the more unusual pieces at the Masterpiece Fair in London from June 27 to July 3. Apter-Fredericks, one of the founders of the fair, will exhibit the lighthouse in which each coloured piece is a separate piece of wood laid in a geometric pattern. It is part of a selection of 18th century English furniture. Another highlight at the stand is an Eagle console table made by William Bradshaw. He supplied a similar pair to Chevening, now the weekend residence of Home Secretary William Hague.
Brothers Harry and Guy Apter said: “We are delighted to be part of the fourth, and what promises to be the best, Masterpiece Fair so far. The Fair is a highlight of our year and has brought much needed style, elegance and excitement to the international art market. The event draws people in from every age group and from countries across the world and is a delight to exhibit at.”
