Curators, connoisseurs and wealthy collectors from around the globe will descend on Maastricht for The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) this month. The fair, renowned for its magnificent displays of rare works, runs from March 15 to March 24. One of many highlights this year is a loan exhibition of 15 masterpieces from the drawings collection at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam . These works are rarely exhibited because they are fragile. The 265 dealers from 20 countries who will exhibit at TEFAF Maastricht 2013 constantly search for rare pieces to bring to the fair that defines excellence in art. Here is a selection of masterworks on offer at TEFAF.
