Hegarty’s sale in Bandon on June 5 at 7 p.m. includes the collection of the late Canon John Barry Deane, one of the best known figures in the Church of Ireland. The auction of 320 lots includes antique furniture, silver and books, including a copy of Bennett’s History of Bandon. There are four watercolors by Lady Kate Dobbin, a great aunt of the late Canon Barry Deane. Here is a small selection.
