  • SOME IRISH FURNITURE FROM ADAMS AUCTION IN SLANE CASTLE

    HERE is some Irish furniture from the James Adam Country House Collections sale at Slane Castle, Co.  Meath on October 11.  The auction of 700 lots features fine furniture, silver, glass, porcelain, pictures and photography.     A satinwood crossbanded and marquetry inlaid commode by James Hicks of Dublin (6,000-10,000). UPDATE. THIS MADE 10,000 AT HAMMER.
