THIS Sheraton demi-lune side table will be sold at Woodwards on April 14
THE Woodwards sale in Cork next Wednesday (april 14) at 6 p.m. will
feature some prime antique lots including a Georgian d-end dining
table (2,000-3,000), a Regency crossbanded sofa table (2,000-2,600)
and a Regency gilt mirror (1,500-2,500).
The sale includes lots from the Loretto Convent in Fermoy and
residences in Sydney Park, Cork and Skibbereen.
Other lots include a Sheraton inlaid demi-lune card table (1,000 –
1,500), a Regency inlaid games table (1,000 – 1,600), a Georgian linen
press (1,000-2,000), a Sheraton inlaid knife box (300-600), a Georgian
bowfront chest of drawers (800 – 1,200), a Georgian cellarette (400 –
800), a pair of Georgian hall chairs (400 – 600), an Oriental marble
topped stand (200 – 400) and a Georgian mahogany hall table or server
(400 – 800).
Among the artists whose work will feature are Gerard Dillon, Kenneth
Webb, Patrick Collins, Robert Ballagh, Pauline Bewick and Brian
Spackman.
The sale is on view from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday April 10-11, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p. m. on April 13 and 14.
