SHELBOURNE HOTEL SUITE WITH OBJECTS TO BE SOLD
Furniture from Dublin’s iconic Shelbourne Hotel’s suites will come under the hammer at The Heritage, Killenard, Co.Laois on November 29. A total of 250 lots of upholstered chairs and specially-made mahogany furniture are among the items from the hotel to be sold. Auctioneers say that two container loads of stock from the Shelbourne includes many unused items of furniture still in their original packaging.
The auction will include 1,000 lots from Brown’s Barn bar and restaurant on the Naas Road. Among them are the 30-foot long stainless steel bar structure and all furniture and memorabilia.
