  • IRISH c1840 SIDE CABINETS AT LYNES AND LYNES

    A pair of c1840 Irish side cabinets is the top lot at Lynes and Lynes in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork on March 28.  The auction offers a good selection of realistically estimated antique furniture, including mirrors and seven chests of drawers, along with collectibles including old Cork Opera House programmes and old rugby match programmes. There is a Georgian stone plaque with the Hibernia harp dated to 1802 and a Georgian mahogany satinwood banded Irish side table estimated at just 300-500.  The catalogue is online.
