  • PHOTOGRAPHY FROM KRONN COLLECTION AT IMMA

    Second Siight is the title of an exhibition of the David Kronn Collection which goes on show at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) from August 2 to November 9. It is drawn from an exceptional collection promised to IMMA.  The collection comprises more than 550 photographs ranging from 19th century daguerreotypes to icons of modern photography like Edward Weston and August Sander and contemporary photographers Trine Sondergaard and Simon Norfolk.  The first exhibition from this collection was staged at IMMA in 2011. Second Sight marks the donation of 50 works to IMMA.  It will be shown alongside a display by international photographers with a particular focus on Graciela Iturbide (Mexico), Doug Dubois (USA), Daido Moriyama (Japan), Evelyn Hofer (GermanyI and Pieter Hugo (South Africa).
