  • ANTIQUE IRISH SILVER AT SOTHEBY’S, NEW YORK

    A private collection of antique and wonderful 18th century Irish silver, purchased about 50 years ago from Egan’s, Cork, comes up at Sotheby’s sale of Important Silver, Vertu and Russian Works on Art in New York on October 29.  There are nine lots in total. Here is a sample:
